Kerry Cancer Support Group is run primarily by volunteers. It is a community project that is open to all, without referral and at no cost. We aim to provide emotional, psychological and social support to individuals in need of guidance on their cancer journey.

Our Team Members

Tim Corkery - President/Founder
Tim Corkery is the founder member of Kerry Cancer Support.
He is also a member of Men Against Cancer. It is Tim's vision that has inspired the Group and is constantly a driving force.



Seán Prendergast - Manager
Seán Prendergast has been a member of Kerry Cancer Support since 2009.
He has brought many necessary management skills to the Group. He has implemented several policies and procedures which are very necessary for K.C.S.G. in these changing times.


David O'Mahony - Chairman
David has been a member of Kerry Cancer Support since 2007.
He is our dynamic chairman who takes on the role of Public Relations, training and health education. David has brought fresh thinking to the Group and constantly endeavours to keep up to date with community needs.


Deirdre Walsh - Health Promotion - Registered RGN
Deirdre has been a member of Kerry Cancer Support since 2008.
She insures that all set out standards are adhered to in order to maintain a professional and holistic environment. She is also very much involved in Community education, early intervention and follows best practice and encourages others to do the same.


Nora Brosnan - Services Co-Ordinator
Nora has been a member of Kerry Cancer Support since 2007. She is the main organiser of all services provided by Kerry Cancer Support. She has also a keen interest in health promotion and early intervention.
